One who does not partake in creating the circumstances that he or she wants will disregard the quote above by Napoleon Hill, treating it as being gibberish. They take their current environment, their current circumstances as being the result of what has been happening to them, things that are out of their control. This is also true with regards to dis-eases that we encounter in our lives, whether it’s ourselves or our loved ones. There are lessons to be learnt in any situation, but it is up to us to recognise that and work through it as opposed to becoming a victim to the situation and allowing that to control us instead.

“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” – William Shakespeare, Hamlet

We have been blessed with mental gifts, or as Hill calls them, mental faculties which helps us to decide what we want to do, to create, given the free will that we are all born with. There may be people who disagree that they have free will, but here is a quote for you to ponder on:

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” – Victor E Frankl, “Man’s Search for Meaning”

Your perception gives you the freedom to think what you want of the circumstance(s) that you’re currently in. Your free will in life gives you the ability to choose what it is you want to let into your life. So, what will you choose?

Let not your current environment determine your future. Most people mistakenly take their present situation as the environment that they cannot move out of. They limit themselves to their physical situation, but only because they are unaware of the creative abilities that we are all also born with.

If you could do anything you want in the world, where you have all the time, money and resources, what would you do with your life? Think not from your physical situation, but instead, go from within you. Do not worry about the negative talk and rationalisation and logicality of the dream right now… what would you love to wake up to everyday, to do, to experience, to learn? What is it that you really want?

Once you have found the passion from within, one burning so brightly that it will light up an entire room with just the flame from your passion, you then need to have the faith that the flame will only burn brighter as you progress with your passion. When the flame consumes you, you will then do whatever it takes to make that passion a reality, keeping the flame alive. That is when you become the creator of your circumstances, the creator of your life… to live the life you choose to live.

“Success is the progressive realisation of a worthy ideal.” – Earl Nightingale.

Success does not mean reaching the end goal. Success is the progressive realisation, the embracement of the journey which leads us to the attainment of the goal or ideal which we set for ourselves.

Remember: We are not victims of circumstances. We are the creators of our own circumstances. Perception gives us the ability to think from another perspective, to do things in other ways. Free will lets us choose what we create, and what we barr from our lives. Embrace the journey that you place your self in reaching your goal, in following your passion, for there is much to be learnt from the journey, from being the creator of your own destiny.

Live the life that you want… or you can continue to live as the victim in life. You have the ability to accept or reject the situation. It’s your free will. The choice is in your hands.
